Swedish Square Dance Convention, Sigtuna

June 2024 saw around 650 American Square Dancers gather in Sigtuna, Sweden, for the Swedish Square Dance Convention. People had travelled from many countries to be present. Dancing was in three large sports halls, so concurrent sessions were taking place. The atmosphere was friendly and exciting, so many dancers gathered together for a common purpose of having fun doing what they enjoyed.

Many younger people take part in square dancing in Sweden as can be seen in the photos, there was a young woman dancing with a small child on her back and many young people.

A very enjoyable event.
